Michael Ellis
Michael Ellis is the President and Managing Partner of Ellis & Ellis, LLC. Michael has been in the tax law arbitration industry for many years and has created one of the most prominent businesses in the industry. Part of the success Ellis & Ellis, LLC has accomplished is through Michael’s hands on approach with clients. He remains involved with each case from beginning to end. In most other tax firms, principles of the company do not participate in the daily management of clients files.
Michael Ellis has created a unique system that allows him to personally engage in each case file. He started Ellis & Ellis, LLC on the premise that there was a huge misconception in the industry. Most companies focus on penalties and interest with their clients rather than actually educating and providing clients with complete protection through formalized agreement processes. Michael is a member of the NATP, a member of the NFL Alumni Association, an ambassador for the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance, member of the Precious Children Foundation, and he also works with the St. Baldricks Foundation annually to promote childhood cancer research. Prior to founding Ellis & Ellis, LLC, Michael was the Regional Vice President for two fortune 500 companies. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, the University of Denver, and Bucknell University.
Phil A. Montoya
Phil A. Montoya, E. A., serves as the Senior Financial Specialist of the Legal Department. Phil has 22 years of experience, including 8 years with the Internal Revenue Service.
Since 1995 Phil has been licensed to practice before the IRS. His area of expertise is tax law that favors the taxpayer and taxpayer’s rights. Phil has worked both sides of the tax industry and prefers taxpayer representation where he can save our clients a lot of time, stress, and money. Phil examines all financial documents for our Associates to ensure our clients remain protected and their resolution is not delayed with mistakes.
When Phil is away from the office he enjoys golfing, basketball, bowling, cycling, hiking, and fishing.
Donna Ellis
Donna Ellis serves as the Senior Client Advocate and Adviser. Donna has over 10 years of experience. She holds an Associate degree in general business.
Donna’s experience at two larger companies has allowed her to be a great asset. She brings great knowledge of the taxing authorities and tax law. Donna is able to guide her clients to run their business in compliance with the IRS.
Tori Holm
Tori is a Junior Partner at Ellis and Ellis, LLC. She works in the legal department preparing all necessary documents for clients, completing financial reviews, investigating where liability has been accrued, and making sure that all returns are filed for each of our clients. Tori is exceptional at client contact and making sure we are all up to speed on where each case is currently at in the process. She is full of energy, ready to get to work, and all around a great person to work with. In her free time she likes to spend quality time with her one year old son, three year old dog and her husband.
Dante Marshall
Dante has been in tax resolution since 2015. As a managing partner he is involved in every case from beginning to end. He believes in educating the clients in order for their situation to now be continuous. Resolution is his main goal. On his off days he coaches mite hockey as well as golfing.
